It is a learning programme for all learners learning isiXhosa as their home language. The title caters for both urban and rural children. The teacher's guide has two sections. The first section is a brief overview of the RNCS including reasons for the revision, key changes, principles underlining the RNCS and a year plan. The second section has an introduction/overview of the unit at the beginning of each module with its integration learning outcomes achieved and the assesment standards.
