Management Information Systems: GIS and Remote Sensing: 2002

This title contains papers originally presented at the Third International Conference on Management Information Systems (MIS) incorporating GIS and Remote Sensing. Management Information Systems have rapidly spread throughout a whole range of activities and are now an integral part of modern life. Presenting the state-of-the-art in a variety of applications ranging from engineering to business and the economy, this volume also includes a number of papers dealing with improved human machine interface capabilities and, in particular, the emergence of virtual reality as a tool for MIS applications.
